Freedom in Christ is a relationship with Him.

“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus,” (Eph. 2:6).
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly,” (Jn. 10:10).
“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil,” (1Jn. 3:8).
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free,” (Jn. 8:32).
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed,” (Jn. 8:36).
Center your attention on Jesus, (Rev. 12:11).
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death,” (Rev. 12:11).

Allow the Holy Spirit to have His way with you.

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come,” (Jn. 16:13).

Bathe yourself in the Scripture.

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth,” (Jn. 17:17).

The Bible is the written Word of God.

“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God which liveth and abideth forever,” (1Pet. 1:23).

Fellowship with Bible-believing Christians, (Gal. 6:2).

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with un-righteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?” (2Cor. 6:14).

Jesus Gives a Divine Call

“And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? Have all the gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? But covet earnestly the best gifts; and yet show I unto you a more excellent way,” (I Cor.12:28-31).

The apostle Paul says in (Eph. 4:11), that “Jesus gave.” This passage also says, “God set.” It doesn’t say that Peter Wagner gives the Body of Christ Apostles or prophets… Jesus gave and God sets them into the Body of Christ. Notice this Corinthians’ passage calls the Body of Christ “the Church.”

The Church is the Body of Christ. The Gift of Miracles is a supernatural gift that God gives for the Body of Christ is the Church. The Holy Ghost sets ministry gifts in the Church – not man. There is a vast difference between God’s setting some in the Church and a man setting some in the Church. A study of Church history reveals how down through the centuries various groups have endeavored to get back to what they call New Testament practices.

They’ve set up Institutions which often were something man manufactured – something in the flesh, something carnal. These men “called” and “set” people who had no divine calling into certain offices.

This is unscriptural.
God does the setting.
God does the calling.
You simply do not enter the ministry, any phase of it, just because “you” feel it is a holy calling and “you” want to do it.
You never enter the ministry because “someone else” tells you that you are suited for it.

“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the boy of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we hence forth be no more children, tossed to AND FRO, AND CARRIED ABOUT WITH EVERY WIND OF DOCTRINE, BY THE SLEIGHT OF MEN, AND CUNNING CRAFTINESS, WHEREBY THEY LIE IN WAIT TO DECEIVE,” (Eph. 4:11-14).

Miracles Confirmed the Christian Gospel

Miracle reveals Jesus as the Son of God:

John the Baptist, (Lk. 7:19-22).
Disciples themselves: (Jn. 2:11).
The Jews, (Jn. 2:23; Jn. 7:31).
Religious leaders of the Jews, (Jn. 3:3).
Nicodemus believed in Jesus;
“For no man can do these miracles that thou doest except God be with him,” (Jn. 6:2).

Miracles are signs in disciples.

Peter was approved of God by miracles, (Acts 3:6, 7, Acts 9: 33-35, Acts 9:37- 42, Acts 5:15:16).
Phillip was approved of God by miracles (Acts 8:6- 8,13).
Stephen was approved of God by Miracles (Acts 6:8).
Converts were approved of God by miracles, (Mk. 16:20).
Miracles confirmed the Christian gospel and assisted in the establishment of a firm foundation for the church. Everywhere the Disciples preached and healed the sick and cast out devils, multitudes turned to Christ!

Heb 13:8, — “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” KJV
Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the Throne of God, interceding for us, and all our problems! “. . . Come boldly to Throne of Grace, that ye may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need,” (Heb. 4:12).

“The city of Samaria gave heed to the WORD that Philip sake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with old voices came out of many that were possessed: many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city,” (Acts 8:5-8).

All the inhabitants of Sharon and Lydda “turned to the Lord when Peter told Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, sick of the palsy, “Jesus Christ maketh three whole. Arise and make thy bed. And he Arose immediately,” (Acts 9:33-35).

“Many believed in Joppa when Peter raised Dorcas from the dead,” (Acts9:42).
“Some of the converts were “The People at Lystra thought God had come down to them when they saw the crippled man leap and walk at Paul’s command,” (Acts 14:8-18).

The Mind of Christ in You

Christian Life gives us the advantage of having the ability of having the mind of Christ. This means to have his mind you will be able to operate in His will being able to please God. Having His mind, will change our lives and character to reflect His glory!

If every Pastor would change their minds to throw away all the perverse bibles and return to the use of the King James Versions of the Word; the Church could quickly return to the basics of Christianity with Jesus as the center of the Church. You simply cannot have the mind of Christ if you have been blinded by these paraphrased, perverse bibles, throw them away. I believe the Mind of Christ is one of the most essential and misunderstood elements of the Christian life. The very basis of pleasing God is serving Jesus and living in the power of His Word.

The Apostle Paul challenged the Philippian’s Church to search for comfort in the Spirit and to fulfill His joy by being of one mind with God.

Philippians 2:2, –Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
[Fulfill ye my joy] Ye ought to complete my joy, who have suffered so much to bring you into the possession of these blessings, by being like-minded with myself, having the same love to God, his cause, and me, as I have to him, his cause, and you.
[Being of one accord] Being perfectly agreed in laboring to promote the honor of your Master; and of one mind, being constantly intent upon this great subject; keeping your eye fixed upon it in all you say,
Everyone have “is intent on one purpose.”
“What was the purpose that Paul was referring to?
“Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory (self conceit); but in lowliness of mind let each (one) esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.” (vs.4)

Believers should have a concern for others of the Christian Church; turning from being busybodies o to mind other people’s business, but rather to encourage a sincere desire for the well-being of all God’s people. We must humble ourselves, not allowing strife or selfish conceit to have place among us.
