We have been blessed in America with a lot of liberty and freedom that most countries do not enjoy. As the Body of Christ we must hunker down, intercede and pray for the lost, our families, and the Body of Christ while there is still time. As tyranny abounds around the globe ,we must stay steadfast in the Lord and not get offended at one another, especially in the Body of Christ.

Etymology and meaning of the term is determined by its use in, (1 Tim 2:1). “I exhort, therefore, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings, be made for all and
men"." Supplications and “prayers” refer to general and specific petitions. “Intercessions” will then have the meaning of a request concerning others. Intercession is prayer on behalf of another and naturally arises from the instinct of the human heart. Intercession is to be regarded: As the spontaneous act of man for his fellow man; the official act of developed sacerdotalism (practices of a priesthood). Man’s intercession for his fellow man.
Patriarchal Examples:
Many such prayers are recorded in Scripture. The sacrificial act of Noah may have been partly of this nature, for it is followed by a promise of God on behalf of the race and the earth at large, Gen 8:20-22.
- Such also is Abraham’s prayer for Ishmael, (Gen 17:18).
- Abraham’s prayer for Sodom, (Gen 18:23-33).
- Abraham for Abimelech, (Gen 20:17).
- Jacob’s blessing of Joseph’s sons is of the nature of intercession, (Gen 48:8-23).
- His dying blessing of his sons is hardly to be regarded as intercessory; it is, rather, declarative, although in the case of Joseph it approaches intercession.
Because of Jesus and His great power to save unto the uttermost,
we stand on the foundations of His life and Word to pray. We believe You Lord, for a revival in our land. Let your fire fall as you did for Elijah in (I Kin. 18:38). We need the fire of God today to burn out the sins of our hearts and to set us afire to win souls for Christ. As You gave victory unto Your prophet Elijah over these evil forces of his day, You will give us victory.
We praise You Lord God that You will teach us to reclaim our country, our lost relatives, and our cold modern churches, to return to You. We give you glory, Lord that you will teach us how to tear down the false religious system of the New Age and the spirit of Baal. Help us O Lord to pray for the rebuilding of the altar of God. Send us powerful living stones that are needed for this dark hour of time.
APOSTLE PAUL A FRONTLINE WARRIOR
Paul was ever mindful of his need for the intercessors of the church to pray for him. Moreover, Paul pleaded , “Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.”
Among the most highly respected intercessors and spiritual warriors today is Johannes Facius of Germany, coordinator, of Intercessors International. This point is made to signify that we are not talking about a novice, but a veteran. Facius tells how back in 1986, a team of intercessors went to the Soviet Union and entered the Lenin Mausoleum in Mosco. They felt they should pronounce judgment upon the “gods of the Soviet system,” Vladimir Lenin. Facius declared,“What happened in the heavenlies at that time we do not know. However, we do know that Soviet Communism soon crumbled and it was through this move against Satan that I suffered one of the strangest attacks of sickness that I have ever experienced.”
