Demonstration of the Power of God part one

“And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God,” (1 Cor. 2:4,5).

Christians have direct access to the power of God. Sadly, much of the power is squandered on Better Homes and Garden or Disney World sort of Christianity. Jesus fully intended to leave a militant church so that His people could evangelize the world for souls. We are living in perilous times. Nevertheless, it is also a time for great Christian witnessing because of the tremendous darkness that has spread across the world. We are surrounded by the enemy on all fronts and the Church is infiltrated by New Age doctrines camouflaged in new distortions Biblical language. We must be a vigilant, but Word enlightened and inspired by the Holy Spirit.

The Church was purchased with the precious blood of the Eternal Son of God, therefore, like Him is eternal. “Upon this rock” (Petra), said Jesus, “I will build my church.” The Church is not built upon his disciple, Peter, but it is built upon Jesus as the foundation. There is a divine person living in the church; each member of the church is indwelt by the Spirit of God. The Christian has a unique relationship with Jesus. Jesus is shown as the Head of the church and the members are called His Body. He has given his believer’s a power of attorney to act against the power of Satan.

(Eph. 1:17-23), “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.”

Jesus has been raised and seated at the right hand of Father God. He is ruling in power and distributing His power to the ones who believe.

(Rom. 8:16). “Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves,” (2 Cor. 13:5). “Every Christian emerges either trusting in people, or trusting fully in God, that is, either cursed or blessed.”

God has permitted Satan to maintain a degree of authority to deceive the nations. God originally gave humans ruler ship, THRONE, POWER AND AUTHORITY over the earth. Willing people give Satan THE RIGHT to have rule over their lives. Other words, originally, the creation of the earth, God gave humans dominion over the earth. When Adam and Eve obeyed Satan and disobeyed God, they handed their soul, life and authority to Satan.

In Genesis Gen 3:15, “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

Serpentine Spirit

This scripture places an opposition existing between humans and the Serpent, Satan. It is evident that Satan, who motivated Adam and Eve but God in his endless mercy has put enmity between people and Satan. Though all human beings love his assistance, they become enslaved by his power. Romans 3:23, –“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Then, Romans 5:12, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”

Who can be saved? All serve Satan and are born under the power of original sin. From birth, Satan controls his soul, body, goods, etc. Therefore, the answer to the fallen state of people continues to be God’s promise of the Messiah shall bruise thy head, and shall bruise his heel.

Deliverance from the Stolen Mind and Satan’s Captivity

In Africa, witches and wizards can steal the minds of people and exchange intelligences into the minds of their children. I ministered to several young men while in Africa that had their minds stolen in this manner… How it works, I can’t say but Jesus’ power can heal them.
Both men were healed and restored. One returned to college, the other remained in Bishop Kanco’s church and became a worker there. Both cases were the result of witchcraft powers being worked against them.

This is how I prayed for them.

  • I bound the witchcraft power that had been worked over their lives and released the power of Jesus and His mind over them. Phil 2:5, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus,” KJV
  • Bound the strongmen and his demonic helpers that have stolen the mind of (person(s) name) In the name of Jesus
  • I put the strongmen and helpers under the feet of Jesus.
  • I bound the powers of the Wizards and witches.
  • Called their minds back asking the Lord to reconcile them to Him. Col 1:21. All in the name of Jesus
