Who is watching the Children?

Believers are harmed by the adversary when he comes as the deceiver because he is subtle and comes disguised as an angel of light as shown in (11 Cor. 11:14-15). Paul shocked his listeners that many of their apostles were actually false when he said, “and no marvel (surprise); for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light”. Therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the minister of righteousness: whose end shall be according to their works.Paul shows as false ministers appeared as true ministers, so also Satan can masquerade himself as a true angel of God. The purpose of coming to a person in the role of the deceiver is to trick that individual into accepting the false for the true. A believer’s protection discerns the spirits to see if they be of God and studies the whole counsel of God’s Word and rightly dividing the Word by interpreting Scripture with Scripture.

People seem to blindly trust their church leaders and famous personalities by relying on them to do their Bible studies and tell them how to live. No one seems to be watching the sheep. According to the Word of God, a Good Shepherd never is a coward and runs when the wolves come, but he fights for his sheep. Take heed therefore unto yourselves and to all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in AMONG YOU, not sparing the flock,” (Acts 20:29).

Christian Authority against the Powers of Darkness

Sermon by Pastor Pat- “Christian Authority Against the Powers of Darkness”

Christians receive their authority from Jesus Christ and all authority is vested in Him. Every believer has the authority that has been delegated to them by Jesus Christ.

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues,” (Mk. 16:15-17).

Knowing one’s spiritual authority and how to use their binding power, enables one to enter into spiritual warfare with faith to overcome.

Jesus is the true Christ

The Bible says that Christ existed from all eternity with God. (Tit. chapters, 1:3, 2:10, and 3:4,)

  • God is identified as the Savior (Tit. 1:4, 2:13, and 3:6)
  • Jesus Christ is identified as God. (Isaiah 43:11)
  • The Lord says there is no Savior besides Him, (Acts 4:8-12)

Jesus Christ is portrayed by the Hierarchy as being one of the ascended masters, or “Christ’s,” but they present Buddha with this title as well, and place him in a superior position. (The Hierarchy considers “Christ-hood” a position that can be attained; reference to “Christ” therefore is not always to the person of Jesus); Christ came to show us the love of God, but Buddha came to bring us enlightenment; suggesting that the Bible has been misinterpreted and its true meaning lost through the centuries; but they claim this has never happened to the “sacred” scriptures of the East.

Jesus-the-Christ

John the Baptist said, “ He who comes after me is greater than I, for He was before me.” Notice, “He existed before me,” “He is the one way!” (Jer. 32:39; Acts 4:12). “He is the way of life,” (Col. 3:4). “He is the way of peace,” (Eph. 2:14). “It pleased God to reveal His Son to me,” was Paul’s account of his conversion. Moreover, Jesus said Himself that: “I am the way and the truth and the life no one comes to the Father except through me,” (Jn. 14:6).

The Bible, the Word of God, is full of testimonies for our example how God in Christ Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever is our deliverer from all kinds of enemies be it physical, spiritual or financial! Yes, when God’s trusting ones cry to the LORD because of the oppressors, He sends them a Savior and a Mighty One, and He delivers them (Isaiah 19:20).

After salvation and deliverance, disobedience for Christians should be a thing of the past.

  • “But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he mediate day and night,” ( Ps. 1:2.)
  • “In Samuel have the Lord is great as light in brunt offerings and sacrifice, as in the obeying the voice of he Lord. Behold to obey is better than sacrifice and to hearken than the fat of the rams.” (1 Sam. 15:22)
  • Listen for the sound of his voice and dwell in His Word. “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Rom. 10:17)
  • Study His Word. “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Rev. 12:11)
