Biblical submission is by no means mindless or passive but mindful and active. This type of submission involves using our minds to learn God’s will and using our wills to obey. Biblical submission also involves reasoning and a deliberate reply born out of a love for God’s law that has been written upon our hearts.
1 Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
